Synopsis: This drama is a remake of the popular school drama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e that was aired on Fuji TV in 2007.
Based on a popular comic, this hilarious comedy follows the chaos, troubles and friendship at a boys' boarding school after a girl-disguising-a-boy joins. Ashiya Mizuki has just come back to Japan from California where she was raised. She fell in love with Sano Izumi, a hopeful high jump hero, who has quit after an accident. As she wants him to go back to the sport once again, she enters the same high school as a boy! With a short hair, flattened chest and lowered voice, she starts sharing the same room with Sano. --Fuji Creative

[Complete] Kimi ni Todoke

Status: DONE
This was my first project, before I even came up with Sky Tree Subs- hope you enjoy it!
As always, please DO give me feedback! As long as it's not in the form of a complaint, I would love suggestions/tips/corrections. Help me get better! I love subbing so far and want to improve!

SYNOPSIS (wiki):
Sawako Kuronuma, called Sadako by her classmates for her resemblance to the character from The Ring, has always been feared and misunderstood because of her appearance. There are rumors that Sawako can see ghosts and curse people. However, despite her appearances, she is a sweet and timid girl who longs to be able to make friends with everyone and be liked by everyone else. When popular boy Kazehaya begins talking with her, everything changes. She finds herself in a new world, trying to make friends and talking to different people and she can't thank Kazehaya enough for giving her these opportunities. Slowly, but surely, a sweet love is blossoming between the two as they will overtake any circumstance or clear obstacles in their way.

Translation note: In the movie (and manga, apparently), there is a very important re-occurring word - "Sawayaku." It's the basis of her name, as well (the Sawa in Sawa-ko is the same word). It's a multi-faceted word, with a lot of connotations. Such as lively, gentle, fresh, refreshing, ect etc. the breeze during spring time? Anyways, I ended up translating it mostly as either refreshing + lively, or just lively....depending on the situation. If you are familiar with the manga and was wondering why the movie is a little different, it was a translation thing. When I was having trouble translating that part, I picked up the manga to see what they'd done, but....honestly, the phrase "100% freshness" was both awkward and confusing to me.

Rules (work in progress)

Ok, I guess I need rules if this is gonna work, right?

Here are the big ones:

1. No hard subbing
2. No streaming
3. No altering and/or removing my credits.

Now for the ones that aren't quite as big of a deal:
4. ASK before re-posting. I may not say no - I did offer these subs to 3 drama communities I like and trust.
6. ASK before using for translation. I'll pretty much say yes, with the condition that you CREDIT and LINK to me. (small note: my subs aren't perfect. so....know that first, lol).
7. Imagine you spend 15 hours per episode to bring a fan sub to people you've never met, and how you'd like to be treated. Do that, and we won't have any problem :).

And finally, I will accept requests in certain circumstances:
I will consider sub requests, if it's something I'm interested in, and there are Jp subs available. Give me the jp sub file and a link to the video file and I'll consider it, but no promises. It's too time consuming to do something I have no interest in.
